Frequently asked questions
We provide nutritious morning and afternoon snacks daily. For lunch, families have two convenient options:
Home-Packed: Parents may send lunch from home.
Order from Cater Tots: We partner with Cater Tots, a school lunch delivery service. They offer exceptional flexibility, allowing you to order daily, weekly, or monthly from a diverse menu of kid-friendly, healthy options.
This is a common question. In our experience, young children thrive socially in a smaller environment.
In a close-knit setting, children interact with all of their peers throughout the day, working, playing, and communicating together. In larger classrooms, it is common for preschool-aged children to gravitate toward one or two peers, while in our environment, they naturally engage with a wider circle of friends and build meaningful relationships across the entire group. Many parents notice that their child can name and connect with every classmate, reflecting a strong sense of belonging.
We also see this reflected in language development. Children who are new to English often begin communicating within weeks and make noticeable progress quickly, supported by consistent, high-quality interactions with both teachers and peers.
Yes, outdoor play is an essential part of our daily routine. Children enjoy time at Stonegate Community Park, just a short 2-minute walk from our facility.
This daily walk is a meaningful part of our program and serves as an extension of the classroom. Walking hand-in-hand, children practice awareness, responsibility, and care for one another. Along the way, we often pause to observe nature, whether it’s a squirrel chewing on pine cones or a snail crossing the path, encouraging curiosity, mindfulness, and a sense of wonder.
The walk also provides valuable real-world learning, including pedestrian safety and crosswalk awareness in a closely supervised setting.
At the park, children enjoy:
Physical Play: Swings, slides, climbing structures, and open space for running, games, and imaginative play
Sensory Exploration: Sand areas for digging, building, and creative play
Nature Discovery: Trees, green space, and opportunities to observe insects, birds, butterflies, and seasonal changes
Our outdoor playtime is a joyful and enriching part of each day, supporting physical development, independence, and a deep connection to the natural world.
Yes. Our team is experienced in caring for children with a wide range of allergies and takes this responsibility very seriously.
Our lead Montessori guide is also a parent of a child with food allergies, which gives us a deep, personal understanding of the care, vigilance, and communication families need, to feel confident and supported.
We work closely with parents to follow individualized allergy plans and maintain a safe, attentive environment for every child.
Yes, we provide pickup from Stonegate Elementary School for our Afterschool program.
Early Bird Kindergarteners are picked up from their classroom at 11:20 AM and safely walked to our facility, which is located just a short distance from the school.
The transition is closely supervised, ensuring children arrive comfortably and are ready to continue their day in our Montessori environment.
